  24. You definitely must subscribe to the mailing list.  I would say that the
  25. newsgroup *is* dead.

  27. It would probably be smart for the owners to cancel the newsgroup if
  28. they do not intend to correct the problems with cross-posting.  Either
  29. that, or post a message every month telling visitors how to subscribe to
  30. the mailing list.
